Aaron Austin was born in 1777 or 1778 in New Jersey.[1]He died January 4, 1860, at age 82, and is buried in the Austin Cemetery on Morning Sun Road (Ohio route 732) in Oxford Township of Butler County, Ohio.[2]
Aaron Austin married Hannah Doty (1783-1865)[3] circa 1800 in Venango County, Pennsylvania.[4]In 1810 Aaron Austin was living in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County, Pennsylvania, as was his father-in-law Samuel Doty (1765-1829)[5]
