Abiel Abbot was born 17 August 1770 in Andover, Massachusetts, United States to John Abbot (1735-1818) and Abigail Abbot (1734-1807) and died 7 June 1828 of yellow fever. He married Eunice Wales (1772-1831) 1796 .
