She was a most excellent woman, who "happily exemplified the meek and quiet spirit of the gospel." Among her grandchildren were the missionary sisters—the first Mrs. Myron Winslow, Mrs. Cherry, Mrs. Hutchins and Mrs. Perry, three of whom were buried in heathen ground at Oodooville, Ceylon, and Rev. Dr. Daniel Lathrop, Mrs. William A. Hallock, of New York, and C. L. Lathrop, who married Philura Leffingwell H. (1. 2. 4. 3. 10. 6. 1.). She died March 9, 1820.
