There seems to be some confusion about his parentage: the internet researchers say that he was born in 1913 in Crookwell to Albert Ernest Gorman (1882-1952) and Mary Ellen Nugent (1885-1972) (married 22 June 1910 in Lismore), whose next child was the similarly named Albert John Gorman (1914-1980). These parents whose marriage was registered in 1906, and who died in Bexley North, seem a better fit.
