The death occurred at his residence, Pennant Hills road, Carlingford, on Saturday last of Mr. Albert John Catt, at the age of 60 years. He was born at Carlingford, where he had resided all his life, and was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Catt, of Carlingford, and was married to a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Bellamy of Carlingford, There are three children, viz., Mrs. S. Powell (Carlingford), Mrs A. Mobbs (wife of the Mayor of Dundas) and Mr. Albert Catt (Carlingford). A cousin, the late Mr. Heber J. Catt, died at his residence, Carlingford, only seven days before. The late Mr. Albert Catt was until two years ago a storekeeper at Carlingford, and had since been a carrier. He was at member of the Ancient Order of Druids, Dundas, who accorded their departed brother a lodge funeral, which left deceased's late residence, Pennant Hills road on Saturday afternoon, for the Church of England Cementery, Carlingford there was a very large attendance, the cortege of vehicles being half a mile long. The Rev O. W. Cooper. (rector at Carlingford) conducted the services both at the house and at the cemetery. Bro. G. Mortimore (U.A.O.D.), Epping, conducted the lodge ritual service at the cemetery, A large number of wreaths were forwarded, including one from the Druids Lodge. The funeral arrangements were in the hands of Metcalfe and Morris, Ltd., Parramatta.
