He married Allegra Mostyn-Owen () 5 September 1987 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England, United Kingdom. He married Marina Wheeler (1964) May 1993 in Horsham, England, United Kingdom.
Boris Johnson has been Mayor of London and is currently an MP, eighth cousin to David Cameron (via lineages that have an illegitimate child of a prince on each side). He was expected to try to succeed David Cameron as Prime Minister in 2016 but declined to stand. He later took over as the Prime Minister after the resignation of Theresa May, and later won the 2019 United Kingdom general election to remain Prime Minister.
