Alexios I Komnenos, Emperor and Autocrat of the Romans, was born circa 1048 to Ioannes Komnenos (1015-1067) and Anna Dalassene (c1025-c1101) and died 15 August 1118 of unspecified causes. He married Eirene Doukaina (c1066-1123) 1078 JL .
