Alfred George Chapman was born 21 August 1880 in Bundarra, New South Wales, Australia to Charles Chapman (1851-1915) and Fanny Amelia Ashenden (1856-1923) and died 18 March 1951 Bundarra, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Neta Carey (1895-1957) 23 November 1915 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
The death occurred at his residence in Bundarra of Mr. Alfred George Chapman, a very old and well known resident of Bundarra, aged 70 years.
Deceased was a member of one of the old pioneering families of the Bundarra district.
He was born in the district, where he lived practically all his life.
In his younger days he followed farm and pastoral pursuits, but of later years, prior to his retirement, conducted the butchery business in Bundarra.
He is survived by his wife and four children.
Mr. Ken Chapman, of Forster, is a son. Daughters are Mrs. Graham (Bondi), Mrs. Rigsby (U.S.A.), and Miss Betty Chapman.
Brothers are William (Sydney), Robert (Tamworth), Herbert (Queensland), Charles (Bundarra), Ashley (Newcastle) and John (Sydney).
Sisters are Mrs. Ryder (Sydney), Mrs. L. G. Jurd and Mrs. D. Strahley (Bundarra), Mrs. Moffatt and Miss Jessie Chapman (Armidale).
Burial took place in the Church of England portion of the Bundarra cemetery. Rev. Rymer conducted the service.
