Lady Alison St Lawrence Netterville Whyte was born 1508 in Howth, County Dublin, Ireland to Nicholas St Lawrence (1460-1526) and Genet Plunkett (1465-1526) and died circa 1530 Ireland of unspecified causes. She married John Netterville (1503-) 1529 JL in County Dublin, Ireland.
Biography
Lady Alison St Lawrence, who married firstly John Netterville (1503-) of Dowth, ancestor of the 1st Viscount Netterville and secondly Sir Patrick White, Baron of the Court of Exchequer (Ireland);
Her second husband, Patrick White, Knight was described as of Flemington and Malyin in County Meath, Ireland, and appears as second baron of the Exchequer in 1521; became a memeber of the Irish council in 1533; acted for a time as second justice of the King's Bench 1535; was residing near Dublin at Clontarf, a forfeited possession of the Hospitallers, 1545; became connected through the marriage of his son with the last prior, who was created Viscount Clontarf; died fater a service on the bench of forty years in 1561; married twice, his second wife being Alison St. Lawrence, daughter of Nicholas, Lord Howth.
House of Howth

House of Howth is a Irish Noble House of the St Lawrence Family located at Castle Howth in County Dublin, numbering 15 barons and 4 earls with distinquished career as lawmakers and soldiers. Since 1180 the St. Lawrence family have been the Lords of Howth. Howth Castle has stood on its present site for over seven hundred years, the original one, a timber structure, having been sited on Tower Hill, overlooking Balscadden Bay. The title line died out in 1909 when their were no more male heirs, but the castle estate remains with the St Lawrence family female heirs to this date.
