Andrew Aldrich I was born 9 September 1737 in Rhode Island to Richard Aldrich (1707-1755) and died 21 July 1808 Lebanon, Grafton County, New Hampshire of unspecified causes. He married Ruth Hopkins (1733-1822) 12 November 1758 in Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island.

A REVOLUTIONARY SOLDIER.
Ruth & Andrew married Nov. 12, 1758. They had 8 children. Andrew and his 2 oldest sons, Richard and Clark, took part in the American Revolutionary War. Fought in the battles of Bunker Hill & Breed's Hill, June 1775 at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. (D.A.R.)
