Obituary

MR. ANDREW GOSPER.

WOOLGOOLGA, Thurs.—The death occurred in the Grafton District Hospital on Friday, August 28, of Mr. Andrew Gosper of Woolgoolga.

The deceased was born at Colo 82 years ago. Over 50 years ago he came to the North Coast and settled at Carr's Creek, Grafton, where for many years he was engaged in farming pursuits. He later transferred to Queensland. About five years ago he retired from active work, and acquired a property in Woolgoolga, where he resided.

The shock of the sudden death of his wife just three months ago affected his health, and he was twice admitted to hospital. A daughter, Mrs. Alf Tuckey, of Halfway Creek, also predeceased him a little over 12 months ago.

Two other daughters survive him. They are Mrs. J. McLaughlin, Upper Corindi, and Mrs. Morris, of Queensland, also four sons: Arthur, of Woolgoolga, and Ernie., Ephraim and Harry, of Queensland. Mrs. J. Lawrence and Mrs. Erickson, of South Grafton, are sisters of the deceased, and Messrs. Harry, Moses, Esra, of Woolgoolga, and Aaron and Heber Gosper of Sydney, are brothers. Clement, who died in New Zealand, and Asher, who died in Grafton some years ago, were also brothers.
