Andrew Johnson, President of the USA, was born 29 December 1808 in Raleigh, North Carolina, United States to Jacob Johnson (c1778-1812) and Mary McDonough (1783-1856) and died 31 July 1875 Elizabethton, Tennessee, United States of stroke. He married Eliza McCardle (1810-1876) 17 May 1827 in Greeneville, Tennessee, United States.
