Ana Jakšić was born 1473 to Stepan Jakšić (c1432-1489) and Milica Belmužević (c1442-c1500) and died 1547 Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius Sergiyev Posad, Sergiyev-Posad Rayon, Moscow Oblast, Russia of unspecified causes.
After her son, Yuri was killed in the Moscow Uprising of 1547), Anna was accused of starting the fire in Moscow through withcraft. However, Anna survived the uprising. She retired to the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, where she took the vows and became a nun under the name of Anissya. She died at the same monastery in 1553.
