Anna Maria Truman Barnum was born 8 November 1812 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States to John Franklin Truman (1789-1839) and Martha Patty Spencer (1793-1876) and died 10 March 1891 Fillmore, Millard County, Utah, United States of unspecified causes. She married James Russell Barnum (1809-1842) 20 June 1832 in Charlotteville, Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada. She married Lyman Stoddard (1795-1854) 27 April 1848 in Winter Quarters, Douglas County, Nebraska. She married Joseph Robinson (1804-1868) 23 December 1855 in Fillmore, Millard County, Utah.
She came across the plains sometime during 1854 in the Peregrine Sessions Company, with her mother, Martha Spencer Truman, her uncle, George Spencer, and her two sons, John Bunnell Barnum, and Henry James Barnum. Moved to Peoa, Utah from the Big Cottonwood area of the Salt Lake Valley, with her children and other members of the Truman family, in 1860. Was one of the first school teachers in Peoa.
