Anne Spencer was born 5 November 1773 to George Spencer, 4th Duke of Marlborough (1739-1817) and Caroline Russell (1743-1811) and died 7 August 1865 of unspecified causes. She married Cropley Ashley-Cooper, 6th Earl of Shaftesbury (1768-1851) 1796 .
