She married John Koch (1866-1934) 10 August 1896 in Tenterfield, New South Wales, Australia.

Obituary
Mrs. Annie Koch, widow of the late John Koch, who died three years ago, has died. Bom at Grafton, she was the eldest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Mulherin, of Steinbrook, and was 67 years of age.
In 1896 she was married to the late John Koch. There are three surviving sons and three daughters. They are: Mr. W. J. Koch (Texas), Mrs. V. Hogan (Warwick), Const. Donald Koch (Gundagai), Mrs. R. Mullins (Scrub), Mrs. J. Petrie (Scrub), and Mr. D. G. Koch (Steinbrook).
There are 16 grandchildren, and two brothers survive—Mr. Wm. Mulherin (Steinbrook) and Const. J. Mulherin (North Sydney),
