Arnold Holland van Gent was born circa 984 to Theodorik van Gent (c956-) and Hildegarde van Holland (c961-) . He married Lietgarde von Kleve (c987-) 1003 JL .
Note that Arnold and his family are found on many genealogical sites, but that there is little proof of the veracity of the information. Arnold certainly was not Count of Ghent as such a title never existed.
