Arthur Gundaccar, Freiherr von Suttner (1850-1902) was born 21 February 1850 in Vienna, Austria to Karl Gundaccar von Suttner (1819-1898) and Karola Knolz (1822-c1865) and died 1902 Harmannsdorf, Horn District, Lower Austria, Austria of unspecified causes. He married Bertha Felicitas Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau (1837-1906) 12 June 1876 in Gumpoldskirchen, Mödling District, Lower Austria, Austria.
Arthur Gudaccar von Suttner was the youngest son of Suttner family. In 1973 he got engaged with the impoverished countess Bertha Felicitas Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau (1837-1906) who was working for the Suttner family as a governess. Despite his family's objection he married her three years later. As a consequence Arthur von Suttner was desinherited by his family and lost the title of Freiherr (Baron).
Arthur and his wife moved to Georgia (at that time part of the Russian Empire). While there, with the help of his wife, he translated into German Shota Rustaveli's Georgian epic The Knight with the Panther Skin.
After returning from Georgia, he started a long-lasting love affair with his niece, Marie-Louise von Suttner. This triangular relationship only ended with his death in 1902
