Biography

Atholl Charles John Liddell, 3rd Earl of Ravensworth, 3rd Baron Eslington, 4th Baron Ravensworth, 9th Baronet Liddell, was born 6 August 1833 to Henry Thomas Liddell, 1st Earl of Ravensworth (1797-1878) and Isabella Horatia Seymour (1801-1856) and died 7 February 1904 of unspecified causes. He married Caroline Cecilia Edgcumbe (1839-1909) 9 October 1866 .

On his death both the barony of Eslington and the earldom of Ravensworth became extinct.
