Aviator Wotherspoon was born 15 November 1913 in Richmond, Queensland, Australia to Robert Wotherspoon (1867-1928) and Faith Matilda Guilfoyle (1879-1964) and died 4 April 1972 Melbourne, Victoria, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Mary Winifred Critchley (1921-1957) 1 April 1949 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Note that his marriage was in the name of "Victor Wotherspoon".
