!LIBRARY: Of Lynn Ransom Burton; My dear niece Betty Louise Pierce Rawson
passed away this evening, 2 Oct 1989, at the McKay Hospital in Ogden, UT, after
suffering a stroke on about the 21 Sep 1989, three days after her 61st
birthday; Obituary, Standard-Examiner, Wednesday, Oct. 4, 1989: She was a
member of the Farr West LDS 1st Ward, where she had been active in the Primary
Presidency, ward choir, the MIA and served as Relief Society Compassionate
Service Leader; she had served as the Captain of the Daughters of Utah
Pioneers, Camp Carry-On. She had also provided service for the March of Dimes,
the Heart Drive, the Farr West Homemakers Club and PTA. Funeral services will
be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at the Farr West 1st Ward Chapel, 1800 N. 1800 W.,
Harrisville Rd., with Bishop Thomas Van Dyke officiating. Myers Mortuary in
Ogden, internment in the Plain City cemetery.
