In 1920 she was living in the home of her uncle, Harry Chauncey Lindauer I (1876-1923) and Harry's wife, Hannah Shea (1884-after1923) at 38 Elm Place, Rye, Westchester County, New York. Living in the house were: Harry Lindauer II (1910-?) who was the son of Harry Lindauer I; Hannah Shea; LeBaron Hart Lindauer (1879-1945) who was Harry's brother; Catherine Harney (1878-1966) who was the wife of LeBaron; Anna Lillian Lindauer (1873-1956) who was Blanche's mother; and Joseph Lowe (1903-1979) aka Joe Lowe, who was Blanche's brother.

Around 1923 Blanche married John Wahl II (1895-1942), a tree surgeon who was born in Ludlow, Kentucky.

- John Wahl III (1924-1975) who was a US Army Captain at Fort Benning in Georgia in 1956.
- Marjorie Ann Wahl (1926- ) who married William F. Spaulding and was living in San Antonio in Texas in 1956 and was living in the San Diego area in 2004.
- William Joseph Wahl (1928-1986?) who was living in Rye in 1956 but may be the "William Wahl" who died in Virginia, who was listed in the Social Security Death Index.

In 1930 Blanche and John were living at 130 Plain Pond Avenue in Rye, Westchester County, New York with their three children.
Second marriage[]
Blanche's husband, John, died in 1942 and she married a Testerman and moved to San Diego, where she died in 1998 at 100 years of age.

She is buried in grave 581, lot 3 in Memory Lake in Greenwood Cemetery, San Diego, San Diego County, California and her obituary appeared in the San Diego Union/Tribune.
