Boleslaus III the Redhaired (ca. 965 - 1037) was duke of Bohemia from 999 to 1002 and in 1003 . He was son of Boleslaus II and half-brother of Jaromír and Oldřich.
In 999 Boleslaus II died and he took rule over Bohemia. In 1001 Jaromír, Oldřich and his step-mother ran away to Henry II. In 1002 he himself ran away to Heinrich of Schweinfurt, his nephew 's father-in-law and later to his cousin Boleslav Chrobry. When his cousin Vladivoj died in January 1003, he was again after Jaromír was for little time duke for promise of support against Henry. On February 9 1003 he forgave his enemies but kill Vršovci and his father-in-law (he had wife and daughter but their names are lost to time). For this he was called to Poland and put to prison for life.
