Boris Vsevolodovich of Goroden was born 1121 to Vsevolodko Davydovich of Goroden (c1080-1142) and Agafiya Vladimirovna of Kiev (c1097-1144) and died 1166 of unspecified causes.

Boris Vsevolodovich of Goroden was the eldest of the three sons of prince Vsevolodko of Goroden and Agafia Vladimirovna , daughter of Vladimir Monomakh. Boris inherited the Principality of Goroden after his father's death. He is first mentioned in 1144, together with his younger brother Gleb, among the princes who participated in the campaign of the great Kiev prince Vsevolod Olgovich against the prince of Halych Vladimir Volodarevich [1] .

In 1150 Boris is mentioned as a supporter of the Prince of Volhynia Izyaslav Mstislavich in the fight for Kiev against Yuri Vladimirovich Dolgoruky. This year, Boris participated in the march to Dorogobuzh. In 1151, Boris participated in the second capture of Izyaslav Kiev, and then he was sent to pursue Yuri Vladimirovich Dolgoruky, who had fled to Belgorod[2][1]

As Gleb Vsevolodovich is already mentioned in 1166 as a leader of principality, it is probable that Boris had already died. The Russian biographical dictionary mentions Boris's participation in the events of 1169 and 1172, however, according to A.V. Nazarenko, these reports refer to Boris's younger brother, Mstislav [1] .

It is not known whether Boris was married and whether he had children. Probably, during Mstislav's rule of the orincipality of Goroden there was at least another adult member of the family, but it is unclear if he was Boris Vsevolodovich's son [1] .
