The vast majority of Aldens in Massachusetts are descendants of the Mayflower pilgrims John Alden (c1599-1687) and Priscilla Mullins (1602-1680) who first settled in Plymouth Colony in 1620 and then by 1629 in Marshfield, Massachusetts. The have probably the biggest posterity in all of North America (see John Alden List of Famous Descendants).
