Evangelicalism is a Christian movement which generally supports traditional Christian doctrinal positions (esp. concerning Christological and Trinitarian issues), stresses a high view on Biblical authority, and places a great deal of emphasis on evangelism, missions, and being "born again".

Evangelicalism is not the same as Christian Fundamentalism. The label "evangelical" may be applied differently around the world and can be politically liberal or conservative.

This category includes churches which profess an Evangelical belief in Christianity, many also being Nondenominational. This is not a category for churches of Lutheran, Presbyterian or Methodist backgrounds, which also refer to themselves as Evangelical, for these churches, see Protestant churches.
