This category includes individuals who have also served as mission presidents or presided over missions of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or its institutional predecessors: the Church of the Latter Day Saints and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This category also includes counselors to mission presidents, and wives of mission presidents, who serve alongside their husbands.

LDS Missions are geographical administrative divisions of nearly the whole world, to which church missionaries are assigned. A mission president relocates to an assigned mission and serves full-time for three years there, directing proselyting activities. In areas without organized stakes, a mission president is also the presiding priesthood leader over smaller church units.
