Biography

Catherine Jean Morris was born in 1917 in Redfern, New South Wales. Her parents were John Blethyn Brethren Morris (1886-1937), a labourer and his wife Margaret Sheddon McIntyre (1888-1963), a housewife. Her maternal grandparents were Donald McIntyre and Agnes McLachlan (died 1929), who were married in 1878 in Grafton, New South Wales. Her paternal grandparents were David Morris and Mary Theresa Cave. Catherine was married twice - the first to a Mr. Thompson and the second to a Mr. Limeburner. On 16 December 1950 in Maryville, New South Wales, Catherine married Alfred Limeburner (1917-2002), a painter and docker. The couple had one daughter, who, in turn, had four children. Catherine suffered a stroke and passed away on 24 August 1976 in Northumberland Street, Maryville, New South Wales.
