Obituary

MRS. CATHERINE CROW

Mrs. Catherine Crow, aged 66, at one time a well known resident of Goulburn and Yass, died on Friday at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Stan Hincksman, of 151 Nicholson St., Goalburn. Mrs. Crow had suffered indifferent health for the past two years, death being due to paralysis of the throat. She was a native of Wollongong and had spent most of her life in the Goulburn and Yass districts, but during the last eight years had resided with her daughter, Mrs. Bailey, of Burwood Heights. While a resident there she took a keen interest in the affairs of the Enfield Hospital Auxiliary. Her husband, the late Mr. Arthur Crow, prior to his death 28 years ago, was in the employ of Gillespie and Co. and Baxter's and Co., at Goulburn. The late Mrs. Crow is survived by five sons and two daughters. The sons are Messrs. Arthur (Goulburn), Alex (Goulburn), David (Goulburn), Roy (Campsie), and John Crow (Lidcombe); and the daughters, Mesdames Stan Hincksman (Goulburn) and Bailey (Burwood Heights). Mr. John McDermott, of Grenfell, is a brother. The burial took place at the Catholic cemetery, Kenmore, on Saturday afternoon.
