Cecilia Waldock Hagger (known as Cissy) was born in 1871 in Edmonton, Tottenham, Middlesex. Her parents are unknown but her grandparents were William Haggar (1824-1902) and Sarah Wilsher (1823-1907), so her father may have been George Haggar (1850-1939) or an unrecorded brother of his. Cecilia was raised by her grandparents. In 1891 she married Clement William Chamberlain (1868-1937). In 1947 in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, Cecilia Waldock Chamberlain passed away aged seventy-six.
