Mr. Charles Avery, one of the oldest residents of the Mulbrlng district, and a native of Dagworth, near Maitland, died on Fridny rather suddenly. He was 70 years of age, and during the whole of his life from youth took an active interest in the district. He was for one term a councillor of Tarro Shire, and took an intelligent and very active part in shire work.
