Rites Friday

Funeral services for Charles E. Kunkle, 74, lifelong resident of Petoskey will be from St. Francis Xavier Church Friday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Childhood Cemetery, Harbor Springs.

He was born in Petoskey April 19, 1895 and was retired from the Penn-Dixie Cement Plant in 1961. Mr. Kunkle died Wednesday morning.

He married Angeline Bester in 1947.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Norman; a daughter, Mrs. Willie Warner, both of Petoskey; four grandchildren; two brothers, Floyd, of Detroit and Arthur, of Florida.

The rosary will be recited tonight at 8 p.m. at Desnoyer Funeral Home where friends may call.
