Charles Lennox, 1st Duke of Richmond, Earl of March, Baron of Settrington, co. York, Duke of Richmond, Lord of Torboulton, Earl of Darnley, Duke of Lennox, was born 29 July 1672 in London, England, United Kingdom to Charles II of England (1630-1685) and Louise Renée de Penancoët de Kérouaille, Duchess of Portsmouth (1649-1734) and died 27 May 1723 Goodwood of unspecified causes.
