Charles Lloyd Andrus "Bud" 1924 ~ 2006 Charles Lloyd "Bud" Andrus went to his heavenly home July 22, 2006, after suffering a heart attack. He was born July 18, 1924 to John Stokes Andrus and Christine Rider Andrus in Murray, Utah. Charles proudly served his country in the Army Infantry in World War II. He married Janice Allred in 1947. Together they had four children: William Lloyd (Sherrie) Andrus, John Charles Andrus, Robert Wayne (Susan) Andrus, and Jana Lee Andrus. They had seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He lived most of his life in the Salt Lake City area until he recently moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Charles was a Christian man who was always cheerful and brought a smile to everyone with his "train-whistle". He was a member of Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved sports and nature. He will be very missed by his friends and family. Memorial services will be held in Murray, Utah at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State Street, on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m., where friends and family may also gather on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services on Saturday.
