Biography
Charles Lyon, 6th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, was born 1699 in Scotland, United Kingdom to John Lyon, 4th Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne (1663-1712) and Elizabeth Stanhope (1663-1723) and died 11 May 1728 Forfar, Angus, Scotland, United Kingdom of an accidental wound received in a street brawl. He married Susan Cochrane (bef1710-1754) 25 July 1725 in Scotland, United Kingdom.
