Obituary

DEATH OF MRS CHARLOTTE MORRIS

Mrs Charlotte Morris, wife of Mr Henry Morris, of Dight's Crossing, died yesterday afternoon in the Dangar Cottage hospital, within 10 days of her 76th birthday. Deceased had been ill for some time but was only admitted to the hospital yesterday morning. The death is all the more poignant by reason of the fact that her husband was admitted to hospital on Tuesday with a poisoned hand, but it is pleasing to record there was an improvement in his condition to-day. The deceased, who was a Miss Walker before marriage, lived for many years at Dight's Crossing, and was highly eseemed and respected by a large number of friends on account of many excellent traits of character.

She is survived by four sons and two daughters, viz., Messrs Albert Morris (Hornsby), Ernest Morris (Dight's Crossing). Percy Morris (Mayfleld East), Geoffrey Morris (Tamwortli), Mrs I. Paul (Mayfleld East), and Miss Minnie Morris (Dight's Crossing). Sincere sympathy is expressed to the husband and family of deceased. The funeral, which took place this afternoon, was conducted by Messrs Partridge Bros., and the remains were interred in the Methodist cemetery. The Rev. H. Polkinghorne officiated at the church and cemetery.
