Obituary
One of the early pioneers of Junee's rural area, Mr. Christopher Grimes, passed away at Canberra during the week at the ripe old age of 90 years. Mr. Grimes, before the advent of the railway to Junee, selected a property in the district to which he gave the name "Ivor". Relinquishing his property interest after a time, he went to the Byrock and Cobar districts, only to return to Junee 48 years ago. After being associated with Winchendon Vale and Burrulebale, he went to West Wyalong in 1914 and then on to Duntroon in 1915.
