From the May 19, 1790, Carlisle Gazette ...
"Whereas my Wife Agness Huston, has behaved herself in a disorderly manner. This is therefore to forwarn all manner of persons not to credit her on my account, as I am determined not to pay any debts of her contracting. Likewise those who purchase any of my property from her, may depend that I will proceed against them as the law directs. CHRISTOPHER HUSTON, April 24th, 1790"
