Christopher Pollard was baptised on 6th January 1724 in Madron, Cornwall, England. His parents were John and Ann Pollard (nee Rodda). His siblings were Joan, Mary, Martha and William. Four other siblings (Martha, John, Phillis and Christopher) died in infancy.


Christopher married at aged 20 to Mary Ellis, whose origins are currently unknown. The couple married in St Just in Penwith on 20th April 1744.

The couple had four known children, who were baptised in three different locations.

Death of Wife[]

Christopher's wife Mary died and was buried on 16th May 1764 in Madron.


Christopher died and was buried on 18th November 1770 in Madron. His residence was recorded as Sancreed.
