He married Sarah Pratt (1718-1754) 14 June 1739 in Wallingford, New Haven County, Connecticut. Christopher Pratt, born 4 Nov. 1712, was the fourth child and third son of Ensign William Pratt and Hannah Hough. He married Sarah Pratt, 14 June 1739, by whom he had seven children. He died at Wallingford, Conn.

Sarah Pratt (1718-1754) married her second cousin, Christopher Pratt (1712-1754). They are both great-grandchildren of Lt. William Pratt (1609-1678), founder of Saybrook Colony in Connecticut.
