Claire Bubley was born 30 June 1918 in Ely, Minnesota, United States to Louis Bubley (1890-1962) and Ida Gordon and died 19 February 2011 Arden Courts assisted-living facility Annandale, Virginia, United States of unspecified causes.
Claire was a court reporter whose early career included helping report the proceedings at the Nuremberg war-crimes trials in Germany.
She settled in Washington in around 1940 and worked as a court reporter and joined the Federal Reporting Co.
In 1948 she married the owner of that company, Douglas Tepper, who predeceased her in 1969. They had two children and a grandchild.
Claire was a graduate of what is now the University of Wisconsin and was a Falls Church resident. She moved to Falls Church from Clifton, Virginia, where she had lived from approximately 1952 through 1970.
She passed away following a fall on 19 February 2011 at the Ardens Court assisted-living facility in Annandale aged 92.
