Farmer and avid vegetable gardener. Farmed corn and other typical row crops and raised hogs and cattle. They also raised chickens to sell eggs to grocery stores in Savannah. He was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church. I am also told he enjoyed serving as a school bus driver for the Screven County schools for around 25 years up to the time of his death. Died of a heart attack.
