Ibănești is a commune in Mureș County, Romania. It includes nine villages: Ibănești (seat of the commune), Blidireasa, Brădețelu, Dulcea,Ibănești-Pădure, Pârâu Mare, Tireu, Tisieu and Zimți. The commune also included the former settlement of Lăpușna, which, by 2011, had no more permanent inhabitants.
