Plopana is a commune in Bacău County, Romania. It is composed of a nind villages: Plopana (seat of the commune), Budeşti, Dorneni, Fundu Tutovei, Ițcani, Rusenii de Sus, Rusenii Răzeși, Străminoasa and Țâgâra.
