Constantin Iarca was born circa 1730 and died circa 1800 Râmnicu Sărat, Buzău County, Romania of unspecified causes.

The Iarca family (name sometimes spelled Yarka by some members of the family) originated in Macedonia. A document of 1793 mentions Constantin Iarca who settled in the city of Râmnicu Sărat in 1781. He is the ancestor of the Romanian branch of the Iarca family.

Not very much is known about Constantin Iarca except that he had three sons: Oprişan, Nicolae and Gheorghe (sometimes referred to as George). The first two stayed in the city and are the acestors of the Râmnicu Sărat branch of the family. The third, Gheorghe, moved to Buzău and is the ancestor of the Buzău branch.
