Darrell Leslie Adair, 58, of Phoenix, Arizona, peacefully passed away on September 3, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Phoenix.
Darrell was the last and fourth child born on July 11, 1964, to Delbert and Janice Adair at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
Darrell attended Papago Elementary from kindergarten through eighth grade. He then graduated from Camelback High School in Phoenix. After high school, Darrell attended Scottsdale Community College and took classes through Rio Salado.
On November 3, 2001, Darrell married Janelle Marie Viola at Superstition Springs Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. Darrell worked for Honeywell Inc, for over thirty-five years as a Final Quality Assurance Inspector in the Military Repair and Overhaul Division. Darrell enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. He especially liked Pinetop and the White Mountains because of the connection to our Adair family history. Darrell was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan. He loved being with family and enjoyed Andy Griffith Trivia with his brothers.
Darrell is survived by his wife Janelle, son Zachary, stepdaughters Kayla and Jessica, brothers Delbert Jr. (Teresa), Dan (Terri), and David (Sherri). Darrell is also survived by two aunts, Thelma Paulson, and Sherry Thomas (Anthony), nephews Tyler, Sean, Hayden, and nieces Candi, Amber, and Morgan, and numerous cousins and lifelong friends. He will be missed. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service is planned for 9:00 am Thursday, September 15 at Greenwood/Memory Lawn Mortuary at 719 N. 27th Ave Phoenix, Arizona 85009. Darrell will be laid to rest next to his parents following the funeral service at the Greenwood Cemetery.
