His second son, John Grham, was father of William, father of David, father of David, father of a 3rd David, who d. about 1270, leaving issue by Annabella, his first wife, da. of Robert, earl of Strathearn, 3 sons, 1. Patrick; 2. Sir John of Dundalf, one of the companions of Sir William Wallace, and slain at the battle of Falkirk, 29 July 1298; 3. sir David, who was one of the nominees of Baliol, in his competition for the crown of Scotland, and one of the nobles of that country who sword fealty to King Edward I., 3 Aug., 1292.
