Deborah Hawkes was born 22 March 1652 in Hingham, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States to Matthew Hawkes (1610-1684) and Margaret Nelson (1614-1684) and died 15 May 1711 Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States of unspecified causes. She married John Briggs (1645-1687) 1683 in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. She married Thomas King (1645-1711) 15 June 1699 in Scituate, Plymouth County, Massachusetts.
Research Notes
Deborah was the widow of Captain John Briggs. Married 'Deacon' Thomas King following the death of his wife Elizabeth Clapp in 1698. Deborah's daughter, Deborah Briggs, married Thomas's son, George King. (American Genealogical-Biographical Index, AGBI" Vol 97, pg 34)
