Donald Samuel Judd was born 1 February 1924 in St. George, Washington County, Utah, United States to Frank Judd (1895-1975) and Verna Bagshaw (1903-1985) and died 17 September 2009 Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona, United States of unspecified causes.

Judd, Donald S. died September 17, 2009. He was born February 1, 1924 in St. George, Utah. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne, their 4 children, Brenda, Craig, Douglas and Steven Judd, as well as 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He and his wife Jeanne married April 17, 1948. Don served as a Navy Fighter Pilot during World War II, the Korean War and as a Transport Pilot during the Viet Nam War. He retired from the Navy in 1968 after 26 years of active duty. He spent the next 23 years as an Aviation Safety Inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration. Upon retiring from the FAA, he continued to give flight tests as a pilot examiner for the FAA. He served in many different positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, as well as serving a full time service mission at the LDS Employment Office in Phoenix, AZ. Visitation will be held from 9:30am-10:45am, with church services at 11am, Saturday, September 26, 2009, Church of Jesus Christ of LDS, 4242 E. Waltann Ln., Phoenix. He will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., Phoenix, AZ.- [1]
