Edward Howard, 1st Baron Howard of Escrick, was born circa 1597 to Thomas Howard, 1st Earl of Suffolk (1561-1626) and Katherine Knyvett (-1633) and died 24 April 1675 of unspecified causes. He married Mary Boteler (-1634) 30 November 1623 .
